Welcome to the SacredMend Practice

SacredMend Collective, LLC is a chaplain-led supportive care practice grounded in presence, dignity, and meaning-making. Our work centers the belief that healing does not require fixing what is broken, but tending to what has been carried.

The SacredMend Practice is shaped by clinical chaplaincy, trauma-informed care, and deep respect for cultural, spiritual, and emotional nuance. We companion individuals, families, and organizations through moments of grief, transition, uncertainty, and restoration.

Entering SacredMend begins with slowing down.

We do not rush assessment, outcomes, or narratives. Instead, we offer a steady, ethical presence where your lived experience is received with care and attentiveness. You are welcomed as you are—without expectation, performance, or urgency.

This practice honors:

  • The complexity of human experience

  • The wisdom of the body and emotions

  • The sacredness of story and silence

  • The importance of choice, consent, and boundaries

Our Story

My formation as a chaplain and spiritual care provider is grounded in a holistic integration of clinical practice, spiritual care, and theological reflection. I earned my Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, where my training emphasized compassionate presence, ethical discernment, and embodied pastoral care.

I am currently preparing to be a Certified Chaplain (BCC – eligible), endorsed by American Baptist Churches USA through New Calvary Baptist Church in Norfolk, Virginia. My clinical formation includes Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) internship and residency experiences in hospital and veteran care settings, supporting individuals and families across the lifespan.

My areas of focused practice include women’s health, pediatric, family, and veteran care, with particular attention to grief, trauma, and bereavement supportive care. These experiences continue to shape how I hold space—with steadiness, sensitivity, and deep respect for each person’s spiritual and lived experience.

Our Supportive Care Approach

My approach is rooted in presence, deep listening, and respect for the whole person. I believe meaningful care begins by slowing down—by creating space where stories can be shared without urgency and where wisdom can emerge without force.

I do not approach this work to fix, direct, or rush resolution. Instead, I walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate grief, transition, reflection, and legacy in their own time. Each conversation is shaped by attentiveness, consent, and care for emotional and spiritual boundaries.

This work honors the complexity of human experience. It is informed by clinical training, theological reflection, and a deep respect for diverse spiritual expressions. Whether someone arrives with clarity or uncertainty, faith or questions, this space is held with compassion and steadiness.

At The Center, care is relational, thoughtful, and grounded—offering accompaniment rather than answers, and presence rather than performance.
